Description
Birds and Trees, a 17.25" by 22.75" two-color print on paper, shows how Wilber saw her world. Modernists were tasked with showing the world a more immediate, and for Wilber, a more personal aspect of reality. In this case, she singles out the various parts of her backyard -- the birds and the trees -- and allows the viewer to consider each one individually, and after that, as a whole.
